People love to share their food-- figuratively. I’d wager that almost every single one of you out there has probably shared a photo of one of your meals on social media in the past month, right?
Food photography isn’t just for food bloggers these days. One London restaurant has recognized this, and wants to help you take better #foodporn photos.
Dirty Bones, located in Soho, London, is offering free “foodie Instagram packs” consisting of a portable LED camera light, a multi-device charger, clip on wide angle camera lens, and a tripod for overhead table shots. Their goal? To enable their customers to capture and share beautiful photos of their food regardless of the lighting or time of day, according to a spokesperson.
Even the restaurant’s menu has been designed with Instagram in mind, featuring several picture-perfect dishes to encourage the word of mouth marketing that comes from social sharing.
It remains to be seen whether other restaurants will follow suit, or if Dirty Bones is on their own.
